      Description

Dry/woody aroma, sweet/balsamic. The scent reminds people of pencils, and has a tobacco type note to it. Harsher and more irritating than the other Cedarwoods. It is best to use Cedar Atlas  for skin therapeutic benefits. Warming, uplifting, and toning. Comforting and reviving. Considered an aphrodisiac in that it is grounding and inspiring at the same time. Confidence building. Long lasting, acts as a fixative (a fixative is a substance that binds other compounds, slowing down their evaporation and thereby making their fragrance last longer). Great in most blends, gives them a spirited note, while helping them to last longer. Blends well with the citrus oils, giving them a base note that very nicely complements them. Its a nice masculine note to add to aphrodisiac blends. Nice also with Rosemary, Chamomile, Eucalyptus and many more. This oil has been used as a remedy by native Southwest cultures (USA). In former times, linen chests were frequently crafted from this wood to keep moths out. To date, clothes hangers are frequently crafted from this wood for the same reason.

Non-toxic, yet possible irritant. Avoid during pregnancy, and rather use Atlas Cedarwood for skin therapy

Our Essential Oils are 100% natural, undiluted, therapeutic grade oils. Essential Oils are highly volatile, meaning they readily evaporate, transforming from liquid to vapour. Keep your oils out of sunlight, but do not refrigerate. For more information, refer to Aromatherapy 101

When deciding on a lid, there are a few things to keep in mind. Droppers are great when working on recipes, because you can count the drops, but if you store the dropper in the vial, the oil will eventually deteriorate the rubber, ruining your precious oil. So, store separately, especially if you do not use the oil promptly. Wands are good for skin application. The reducers are good for thinner viscosity oils but not for heavy oils like frankincense. Tap the bottom of the bottle to deliver the oil. These are great for the diffuser.
